Banks & Co. products reflect the unique environment of New Zealand and its place in the South Pacific region. They are profoundly South Pacific ranges – tapping into original New Zealand plant extracts and unique ingredients, while also reflecting upon its place in the world and drawing on the scents and colours from the wider Pacific region.

 

Banks & Co. celebrates the heritage and the work of botanist, Sir Joseph Banks. He travelled on the English voyage of discovery to New Zealand in 1769, with Captain James Cook. In New Zealand and later in Australia he catalogued many native plants for both countries. This was a ‘tour de force’ of early botany, much revered. The Banks & Co. collections reflect some of the plants he documented – many of them unique to New Zealand or the South Pacific.
